Opportunity Details

Pinellas Mobile Pantry

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Mobile pantries bring nutritious foods to “food deserts” – areas where quality, affordable foods are lacking. A refrigerated truck delivers fresh food directly to neighborhoods in need. Volunteers can expect to distribute prepackaged boxes of dry product and produce directly to hungry neighbors that arrive for assistance.
BEFORE ARRIVING:
ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Recommended attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops), and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.
This is an OUTDOOR & OFF-SITE ACTIVITY. The minimum age for this activity is 13+
Location: Northwest Presbyterian Church, 6330 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709
