The Market
WHAT TO EXPECT
Neighbors will shop inside the Community Market and volunteers will assist with selecting and packaging groceries and helping neighbors to their car. Volunteers may also assist with directing traffic, checking in neighbors and assisting with any other necessary tasks. Some lifting will be required of able-bodied volunteers.
BEFORE ARRIVING
ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Appropriate attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops), and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
The minimum age for this activity is 13+ with an adult, 16+ volunteering independently.
